Solution to Present and Clear Danger of Insurgency

At the backdrop of two significant occurrences that took place today in Borno State where community Vigilante Group armed with bows and arrows, dane guns and most importantly COURAGE AND SPIRIT OF SELF DEFENCE dislodged and repelled attack by the dreaded BH killing over 200 captured over 10 terrorists, seized over 80 motorcycles, an Armored Personnel Carrier and 2 Hilux pick-up military vehicles.

The display of anger and frustration by courageous frontline-soldiers of the Nigeria Army against their fat-bellied Generals sums up to 2 things that can be done to avert the looming clear and present danger towards the near end of our current historical tunnel.

The unique courageous affront against the dreaded BH by the villagers recorded the most victorious battle against the scourge. This spirit of of Self-Defence by by the dwellers of the community yielded most fruitful result than the Trillions of Naira expended on the Security Forces mostly gulped by the In-Active-Fat-Bellied-Corrupt-Conniving Commanding Officers and the Unpatriotic-Equally-Corrupt Politicians -The Jonathanians. 

I am afraid, these brave young soldiers limit of patience and tolerance is over-stretched within this one year of isolation and exposure to danger  and harsh environment away from their families, coupled with poor welfare and under-equipment, Any slight further push will lead to unprintable consequences. Coincidently these active frontline brave soldiers that dangled their lives on the battle front and who were ill equipped -malnourished and exposed to all sorts of danger vented their anger using the barrel of the gun in Maiduguri today against their Commanding Generals, this is new dimension most especially in this field of military which epitomize Discipline. These leaves me with 2 conclusions.

To hasten the end of this intifada;

1. The National Assembly should reject the extension of the Emergency Rule in the 3 affected states as requested by the president because the earlier 2 slots of SOEs which lasted for 12 months has worsen the situation, hardened the insurgents, crippled our socio-economic activities and many numerous drawbacks.

2. Emphasis and priority be placed on indigenous Volunteer Vigilante Groups and the Civilian JTF, to accord them (us) adequate attention, recognition, support and encouragement financially and otherwise. The spirit of patriotism and self-Defence to be rekindled among the citizenry through exemplary leadership by the elites and politicians across party affiliations. Religious and Community leaders should unite and encourage the masses especially the youths, hunters, vigilante groups to inculcate the spirit of self-defense and cooperate with security forces to frontally confront the dreaded BH.

3. Any other suggestions is welcome.

We must unite to secure our territories against these beasts!
